Visions Values and Aims

In July 2023 we decided to involve all of our service users as part of our review and development of our Visions, Values and Aims. We found above all most of our families, children and staff team valued friendships the most in nursery and the ability to make meaningful connections with others

Our Visions Values and Aims

Created by the children, staff and parents and carers of Clarence House Nursery    July 2023

  • In Clarence House we welcome all children and their families
  • We aim to provide high quality childcare which enables children to reach their full potential through creating a rich learning environment based on “realising the ambition”
  • We value relationships at Clarence House and work hard to create and maintain positive connections between children and staff and staff and the families of our children.
  • Our relaxed and friendly environment allows children the freedom to express themselves, have fun and make friendships
  • Outdoor play is fully embedded in our practice and we offer daily opportunities for play in varying environments.
  • We use the GIRFEC approach to ensure all our service users are treated respectfully and as individuals
  • We provide an environment where the children are protected and feel safe, and where children come first
  • Our learning and teaching approach ensures that children are actively involved in their learning, and experiences provided meet their individual needs.
  • Our ethos is one where diversity and inclusion are paramount and there is equality for all
  • Continuous improvement is important to us and we welcome the views of all our stakeholders
