This was this afternoon’s sensory activity for our 2-3 group. They enjoyed using their hands and fingers to explore the foam and make patterns. Thank you to Stephanie and Zara for preparing this wonderful session.

The Potting Party

This was a fun afternoon!

The children helped to re plant the window boxes and sow some cress seeds. They enjoyed plane spotting and trying to run away from the garden hose, which always seemed to soak them !

We had a picnic of sandwiches, strawberries and sponge cakes.

Some of us are becoming more confident in new situations and experiences. Some of us are skilled at listening and following simple rules.

Some of us enjoy being soaked with a garden hose !

Tea Party

The best of fun today with our first Fairy Tale tea party. Lots of interest in good old fashioned fairy tales in nursery which has led to this lavish feast, including our very own dragon. Special shout out to Granny and Little Red Riding Hood for facilitating all these fun activities for the children.

Homemade snacks are the best

We started off making Quorn meatballs with spaghetti but when we started cooking, we realised it wasn’t working out too well so we switched it up to spaghetti bolognaise. We all had a wonderful time learning about what makes a recipe and worked together to make a tasty snack and even cleaned up afterwards!

Wheeeeeeee!

Our little ones love to work on their trajectory schema by placing the balls on the chute and watching as they roll down. We have a great collection of balls we can use for this that provide us with different weights and texture, some even make noise when you shake them
