Working together helps us build bigger
Settling in is very important to us, getting to know your new keyworker can take a little time, however we make our sessions flexible to the needs of the child which encourages happy starts and happy little people and their families. This picture was taken on this little chaps first day and he is super happy to be here following his settling period. Well done Aileen and Rebecca for making our babies feel safe and secure at nursery.
This book is extra special as the main character has the name as our friend.
From Chilly Mornings to Sunny Afternoons we love being out in the garden, today we used the litter pickers to help clear away the leaves.
We love to see the children taking on early leadership roles. Literacy is one of our focus areas this year and this warms our hearts to see such lovely spontaneity with reading 📚❤
A big warm welcome to all our new children and their families beginning their journey with us.
Today we worked together doing some building with the big boxes. We learned that you could only crawl through one at a time or it would collapse! As our castle progressed we made a river around it and pretended to be princess and Kings.
World Book Day is always a favourite at Clarence House, we love sharing stories every day but dressing up is extra special. Normally our families join us for storytelling however this year we will be sharing our stories through video links.
5 Years ago we campaigned with the Children’s Wood and Meadow to save this beautiful space which we all enjoy so much. We are so thankful the meadows remain untouched and future generations of Clarence House Kids have the opportunity to learn and explore in this wild space.
