Clarence House Nursery

This idea was from one of the children who decided that they wanted to make a Gup from the Octonauts which extended into some of the children making sharks out of old cardboard boxes, we made sharks of all different sizes and made up some lovely new shark species such as the red shark and the blood shark!

When playing with the magic beads, our little creator decided that he wanted to make a snake as long as the wooden one, it didn’t take him long to do some estimating, measuring and figure out how many beads were needed.

“This is my hat I made because I love macaroni cheese so much so I am the king of Macaroni, I just want to eat only Macaroni”

So we have brought out the climbing frame this afternoon. Playing on this large equipment helps us to balance and coordinate our bodies, while sharing space. We are also learning the skill of negotiation.

We really have lots of energy and the jumping facilities pleased us 😊

This area was very popular and we played here for a long time. Some of us learned to walk the plank and jump off by ourselves!!

Heads of Ayr always good fun

The babies had fun making big pictures with the leaves they found at the kelvin walkway, we like big art!
