The children have shown an interest in pouring and have really been enjoying water play. Making potions encourages us to think about volume and using vocabulary such as empty and full. It’s also just really fun to play with shaving foam!

Time to get the litter pickers out to keep our garden nice and tidy

Much fun was had by all with our lovely autumn activity. We talked about the colours we used and had lots of words for how we used the broccoli- mashing, stamping, picking and even licking! One of our babies decided “socks off” to feel the paint on their toes which inspired everyone else to do the same

Aileen is the best at reading stories, all the children flock to her once she picks up a book, she is very animated in her storytelling and the children love to listen. Thanks for giving our babies a love of reading so early.

Celebrating space week there were lots of shiny items for us to explore, we especially liked the crinkly space blanket, this made a wonderful noise. We also liked being able to scrunch up tinfoil and make different shaped moon rocks.
