Clarence House Nursery

The children have shown a lot of curiosity in the changes being made to their art room. Some have tried out the ladders, some have offered to help paint and this wee group here enjoyed taking turns to stir the thick paint. We learned the name of a new colour too. The shade of green is called Artane. Watch out for wet paint!!

Our babies are baking up tasty treats each day this week as part of our fundraising event.

Today we are having fun with different materials and creating our own spooky potions. We are learning about volume and weight as we transfer liquids from containers of varying shapes and size.

Yesterday we began our dance a thon to raise funds for our nursery. We are doing the monster mash here! The children will help to choose some new items to enhance our digital literacy.

A very exciting trip to the transport museum, we saw lots of trains who had wheels much bigger than us, we rode the subway and pretended to be conductors collecting tickets. We couldn’t get on the tall ship as it was closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, one of our children said “we will have to come back on Friday”
