Imagine our excitement when our morning walk to the river this morning was made extra special by finding some crafted penguins in secret spots along the walkway. We can’t wait to go back and see if there are any more additions over the weekend. We were taught about being respectful and leaving the penguins there for others to enjoy

Our babies were fascinated with using the tubes to roll down objects such as balls, trains and even teacups. Activities like this support our youngest learners with the trajectory schema, investigating how things move.

We had a lovely easter egg hunt in the garden, these wee chicks had our names written on them which helped develop our awareness of familiar letters whilst having fun, tasty treats inside for us too 🙂

Today we went to the children’s wood for a picnic and a play

Helping to match all the welly boots today. Big job but some of us found this quite easy! Matching by colour and size, including numbers.

This weekend one of our star group took home the giant triangle with a mission of finding triangles out and about, mission accomplished, we think he did a great job of spotting triangles in some interesting places.
