Clarence House Nursery

This little one can almost read this whole book by himself and he’s only 2!!

Today we worked on sanding this table in readiness for painting. We worked as a team in several small groups and received a sticker for our hard work.

This is so good. It supports both Literacy and Numeracy.

These wee cuties were very good at sharing toys and playing nicely together

We have been celebrating Burn’s Day this week by having a ceilidh, making shortbread, tasting haggis and learning a new poem.

Rabbie Burns was Born in Ayr, His statue stands in George’s Square, If you want to see it there, Jump on a bus and pay the fare!

Our 2-3 group were desperate to get out this morning and play in the snow, its much more fun than looking out the window, we did lots of scooping and stamping.  Cooper found an inventive way to make snowballs with the ice-cream scoop from the mud kitchen, poor Laura was Coopers target this morning!

The police very kindly let us have a turn of their motorbikes today

A big thank you to all our parents who were able to attend our cafes this year and a round of applause for all our hard working waiters and waitresses.  The children had lots of fun doing the baking and the serving their parents, a very special Christmas treat for all.
