Received this from one of the children requesting a trip to the Banana Park “because I like it there “

Mornings well spent at the children’s wood creating tasty dishes in the mud kitchen and adding a little bit of magic to some sticks we found

We are very interested in dinosaurs right now, we are stomping through the kelvin walkway pretending to be a pack of T-Rex’s

Our babies enjoy crawling through the tunnel and playing games of peek-a-boo

We have been admiring these new sculptures popping up around the children’s wood. We have decided this one is a reindeer

We like to sing on the bus 🚌 We are off to the Banana Park for an hour. You might be wondering why it’s called the Banana Park. Well, many years ago we visited for the first time and took a snack of bananas with us. Next time we asked the children which park they wanted to go to someone shouted out “the banana park “. We’ve called it that ever since.

These young gardeners were very keen to give a hand in the garden today. We made the most of the beautiful weather and spent all day in the garden. We tidied up leaves and soil, repotted 4 little trees, watered all the pots and played hopscotch on the green turf slabs! Sharing and taking turns with the shovel was easy for this wee group of learners.

Today some of the children learned about how to try and help a bee in trouble. We gave it a drink of sugar water and watched as it drank some. There has been a lack of rain and the bee may have become disoriented.
