Christmas Cafe 1

Our christmas cafe opened for business yesterday and we all had a wonderful time sharing our baking with our families. The cafe gives us the opportunity to learn a little bit about doing something kind for others. Everything in our cafe is made by the children from the menus and table decorations to the baking and artwork on the walls. The children then take orders for baking, do the serving and clean up at the end. Once their shift is over they recieve a special goodie bag for all their hard work. We don’t charge here at the cafe but we do accept tips! and we will use these to purchase some toys for our 5 o clock box.

Some Parent comments: “Best cafe, Best waiter! Thanks Clarence House for all the hard work and delicious treats”

“Brilliant cafe, excellent atmosphere and service, I would definitely come back”

“Christmas Cafe was fantastic it should be open all year round”

Shark in the Park

Shark in the Park gives us the opportunity to learn about words that rhyme. Rhiannon is very good at reading stories and knows exactly when to pause the story to let us fill in the gaps

The Banana Park

The climbing apparatus was a “pirate ship” today. The treasure was broken twigs that kept on getting stolen by other pirates. Next time we plan to take some treasure with us to hide.
