Rainy Day Trip

So this was a challenging day trip as the weather was wet. However we managed to have an interesting day. We took our toys onto the lochside and used gravel, sand and water to experiment with. We are learning to look after ourselves and others, while caring for the environment. We tidied up before leaving. Most of us followed some simple rules and listened when asked to.

Mad Mugdock Day

We had such great fun this afternoon. We had the whole park to ourselves and explored the Toadstool Trail for the first time, enjoying looking for all the markers.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar

As part of our world book day celebrations, we made a large posting game to feed the hungry caterpillar. This helps us with our listening skills as we await the food on our card for posting.

Self Evaluation

It’s important that we feel respected, happy and listened to in nursery. Some of our children took part in the Care Inspectorate Survey and it looks like we are doing well 😀

This morning we played the shark and islands game in the garden! The aim of the game is to step on all the number islands in the correct order and shout them out loud, if we missed the jump to the next island the children have to quickly hurry and find the correct number of island to land on before the sharks come and gobble you up
