A very small demonstration outside our nursery this morning. Lots of children at our nursery are not getting their full entitlement to the “free” funded hours from Glasgow City Council. All of our 3 year olds are getting nothing at all. Glasgow City Council think it’s perfectly ok for me and my friends to start all over again somewhere new. This is us at the end of a very exciting and busy day exploring Heads of Ayr.
There was so much to see and do that we ran out of time and nearly missed our
ice-cream. Some of our favourite things were the bouncy pillows, the trampolines,
the pirate ship, the castle, the water fight, the ice-cream and the animals.
This is the moment when Jonah finally found something too tricky to handle!!
We had lots of fun meeting small animals and creatures last week in nursery.
Of course the highlight of the whole visit was when the toad did a pee on the floor!!!! That went down very well indeed.

We met this man today. He was visiting our next door neighbours and Louise found this out and took immediate action. We know he is an important man and some of us can actually talk about this. It was quite an exciting event. Firstly because we had never been allowed in “next door” before and also there were lots of photographers there (they declined to take a worm from us however!!) – and we got to talk to the man in the suit.
We did like this park. It’s name is Naseby Park and it is in Thornwood. We liked this tyre swing, and the climbing frames and we had fun using the binoculars too!!!
One disadvantage was the mud!!
Here are Archie and Laurie finding out what it would be like to wear a police jacket during our visit to the station last week.
On Tuesday we packed a picnic and went here for the whole afternoon. There were 2 parks and a small beach. Things we liked best were the play diggers and the twirly spider web. We ate our picnic sitting looking over the loch and the photograph is when we all jumped of the wall. During this trip we were learning about good listening to help us look after ourselves and other people.
