This is our current number line which also shows us how to pronounce the numbers in Chinese.

This was so much fun. The little roosters scoffed all the noodles. 

Later we read the story that relates to the legend behind the animals on the Chinese Calendar. We also looked for information to tell us what animal Year we were all born in. Interestingly lots of us are dragons!!    

Making Rooster masks was the children’s idea. This one was made by Jessica Nelson

Looks like the boys are busy doing different things today. The girls are playing with shortbread dough on top of a world map. Looking at how small Scotland is compared to other countries. 

This has been a wonderful experience for our under 2’s. They have been pouring and emptying using co-ordination skills and some are getting used to sharing space and resources with friends!!

Apparently Layla commented thus “this is selling for 50 bucks because I’m a good artist” 😂😂
